What is Counselling?

The Okanagan College Counselling team offers a non-judgmental and confidential space for students. Our team of trained clinical counsellors is here to support you through life’s challenges. Whether you’re facing mental health issues, academic stress, personal concerns, or just need someone to talk to, counselling provides support tailored to your needs.

What to expect:

  • Sessions are free to all registered students.
  • Sessions last 50 minutes.
  • Each campus offers virtual or in-person sessions to meet your needs.
  • Counsellors help you set goals, develop coping strategies, and navigate life’s challenges.
  • It is normal to feel uncertain about starting counselling and we are here to answer any questions you have.

If you would like to access counselling, you can learn more and book directly with a counsellor on your campus through our website.
