Register now for OC's Connections
Register now for Okanagan College's annual employee conference, Connections.
Connections is taking place virtually on Tuesday, Aug. 24 and with almost 30 sessions to choose from, this year's conference has something for everyone.
Connections is organized by employees for employees. It is about connecting face-to-face with colleagues from different departments and campuses (virtually of course!), and celebrating the strengths and diversity of the people who work here through interactive, social activities and fun informative workshops. You will hear from OC’s President, Neil Fassina, about what's happening in and around Okanagan College and have a chance to attend engaging online sessions of your choice.

Donate now to the silent auction to support students
At Connections, there will be a new way for you to support our students who are struggling with food insecurity during the conference's first ever Silent Auction.
“How can I help?” you ask? Well, all you need to do is find a treasure or two that you would be willing to part with and donate.
Some ideas would be:
- Something with a good story
- A gift that you would like to re-gift
- A coffee card or restaurant voucher
- Something you bought and never used
- Something of value that would raise lots of money
- A service you could provide to any other employee
- Anything you think someone else would love like a favourite book
To donate your items, drop them off to Stores at the Kelowna campus attn. Michelle Lowry in E501, or drop it off at your local campus (Admin Centre). If possible, send Jill Panton a description of the item, along with a picture.
DEADLINE FOR DONATIONS: JULY 30
Once we have assembled our pile of treasures they will magically appear in an online auction where employees can explore to their hearts content and then bid to win some treasure.
Please email Jill Panton at jpanton@okanagan.bc.ca if you have any questions.
