National AccessAbility Week May 29 to June 4

Imagine a Canada where no one is left out. Join the National AccessAbility Week celebration May 29 to June 4. You can take part by:

• celebrating the valuable contributions and leadership of Canadians with disabilities
• highlighting the work of individuals, organizations and communities who are removing barriers
• reflecting on our ongoing efforts to become a better, more accessible and inclusive Canada

This year the theme for National AccessAbility Week is “Inclusive from the start.”

Okanagan College is in the process of implementing an Accessibility Committee, which will be tasked with developing an accessibility plan for the College. Some committee positions are still open.  If you are interested in being part of the committee please contact VPstudents@okanagan.bc.ca.
