Join retirement celebration for Robert Huxtable

A retirement party is scheduled for long-time member of OC, Robert Huxtable.

Huxtable, the Dean of Arts and Foundational Programs, has been with OC for 42 years, and the College community is invited to celebrate his coming retirement during a celebration next month.

“Rob has led his portfolio through tremendous development and change, overseeing the successful creation of many new programs at the certificate, diploma and degree level, expansion of program offerings across all OC’s campuses, and collaborations that have benefited our communities in significant ways,” said Okanagan College’s Provost and Vice President Academic Dr. Andrew Hay.

The celebration will be taking place on May 18, from 2:30 – 4:30 p.m. in the executive boardroom (S103B) on the Kelowna campus. Attendees are asked to RSVP by May 2 by e-mailing Patti Heinzelmann at pheinzelmann@okanagan.bc.ca. She is also collecting messages and stories to create a memory book for Huxtable; add these to your RSVP response.
