EDISJ survey coming
As part of Okanagan College’s strategic focus on equity, diversity, inclusion and social justice, a survey will be launched May 19 to get input from the OC community.
The new strategic plan, Inspire, calls on the OC community to strengthen our role as a leader in EDISJ, by increasing equitable and inclusive participation of all groups into College life. To read definitions, visit the EDISJ webpage.
The EDISJ Survey has been designed to understand the present climate at Okanagan College and inform decisions about how to build a more welcoming and supportive institution.
The survey is voluntary, anonymous and completely confidential. Utmost care is taken to ensure participant privacy according to privacy laws and OC’s Protection of Privacy Policy.
Institutional Research will distribute the survey on May 19, and submissions will be accepted through the end of June.
Want to learn more about the survey? Read through the FAQs on the EDISJ project webpage. Anyone with questions about the survey, concerns or would like to volunteer to move EDISJ forward are invited to contact the project team via e-mail: edisj@okanagan.bc.ca
