Connections: register, submit questions and bring donations

The countdown is on until Connections, OC’s conference for employees organized by employees. It is about connecting face-to-face with colleagues from different departments and campuses, and celebrating the strengths and diversity of the people who work here through interactive, social activities and fun informative workshops.

Visit the Connections webpage to register for either Aug. 23 OR Aug. 24 and review the list of workshop descriptions. The deadline to register is Friday, Aug. 12.

Questions for the president

New this year: OC President Neil Fassina is holding an “ask me anything” fireside chat. Not only will he talk a bit about Inspire, reflect on the last year and discuss opportunities ahead for OC, the tables will be turned and he will answer questions from you, the employees! Submit your questions to president@okanagan.bc.ca.

Bring a donation

Each year Okanagan College students access a range of resources and supports through the Vernon Students’ Association OC and OCSU  including the Pantry, which provides students with a range of non-perishable food items and basic hygiene and toiletry items. Connections 2022 will be collecting food items and monetary donations to support these valuable student supports. Please bring your items to the check in table on the morning you are registered, and we will gladly provide you with valuable tickets that can be used to win prizes throughout the day.
