Connections: Fantastic finds for food!
The Connections committee has gathered some cool treasures but is still seeking more donations for the silent auction that will support the OCSU Student Pantry, which supports students who are struggling with food insecurity.
Some ideas would be:
- Something with a good story
- A gift that you would like to re-gift
- A coffee card or restaurant voucher
- Something you bought and never used
- Something of value that would raise lots of money
- A service you could provide to any other employee
- Anything you think someone else would love like a favourite book
To donate your item/s, drop them off to Central Stores at the Kelowna campus attn. Michelle Lowry in E501, or drop it off at your local campus (Admin Centre). If possible, send Jill Panton a description of the item, along with a picture.
Deadline for donations is July 30.
Once we have assembled our pile of treasures they will magically appear in an online auction where employees can explore to their hearts content and then bid to win some treasure.
