Camp OC Registration 2026

We’ve heard from our community about the difficulties with registration and appreciate the thoughtful feedback you’ve shared. The system has notable limitations, and as we work to improve what we can, we will continue staggering registration days and age groups to help ease system demands and reduce registration issues.

About Camp OC

Camp OC is delivered by a collaborative team dedicated to creating a fun, safe, and educational summer experience for campers across Okanagan College campuses. Together, we focus on inclusion, safety, and meaningful learning so every camper feels welcome and supported.

Our Team

Camp OC Leadership Team – Program oversight and quality assurance across campuses.

Camp OC Summer Team – Instructors and staff who run daily activities, provide support to campers, and oversee supervision.

Leadership in Action students & Youth Volunteers – High school peer mentors who support activities while developing leadership skills. Student volunteers are identified by their lime green or hot pink Camp OC t-shirts.

Camp OC is committed to offering your child a safe, fun, and educational experience. Our goal is to ensure that your child’s camp experience is positive by providing quality content, instructors, and facilities. If something is not meeting your expectations, please reach out so we can find a solution – we’re here to help!

Camp OC Hours: 8:30am to 3:30pm

After Camp Care Available in Kelowna and Penticton from 3:30-5:00pm.

Our daily schedule balances structured activities, hands-on learning, and outdoor play. Lesson plans are designed to be interactive and engaging, with activities that encourage creativity, problem-solving, and collaboration. Screen time is limited to short educational videos used only to provide inspiration or examples for camp projects - unless the camp is computer specific. Movies are typically restricted to the optional lunchtime showing in the cafeteria (Kelowna campus only)

Drop Off8:00 - 8:30amInstructors and Camp Staff do not arrive before 8:00am. Camp OC does not offer before camp care.
Recess9:45 - 10:15am
  • Campers enjoy a morning outdoor recess for free play and social time, weather permitting
  • Recess times are determined by the teachers, Times may vary
Lunch11:30am - 12:30pm

Campers have lunch choices that vary depending on campus:

  • Outside - picnic tables; outdoor games (depending on campus location) may include soccer, basketball, cornhole, hula hoops, etc.
  • Inside - eat in the cafeteria and then choose quiet or social options: coloring, board games, a family friendly movie, foosball, or ping pong.
  • All lunch and break areas are supervised by our staff to ensure a safe, inclusive environment.

*Reminder: Camp OC does not provide lunch. Please send your child with a packed lunch.
