Okanagan College’s seventh annual Research Innovation Partnerships Expo (RIPE) will be held virtually on Tuesday, May 2.

What is RIPE?

RIPE is an opportunity for community members, industry, educators, researchers, and students to network and discover how applied research is growing new industry partnerships while enriching students’ educational experiences and influencing program curriculum.

How can I get involved?

Learning and Applied Research is calling for presentations and project showcase displays that highlight the innovative collaborations taking place at Okanagan College through capstone and applied research projects with industry and community partners, staff, and student researchers.

Why should I share my project?

Presenting at RIPE or being part of our project showcase provides you with the opportunity to share and celebrate your
project’s successes while connecting with other researchers, industry partners, community members, and students. The sharing of ideas generates new opportunities for collaboration and research partnerships at Okanagan College.

What is the presentation format?

Presenters are allotted 45 minutes for an interactive presentation on Zoom (30 minutes, followed by 15 minutes for questions).
