Inga Wheeler is the Registrar at Okanagan College, where she leads strategic initiatives that strengthen the student experience through the integration of people, processes, technology, and institutional strategy. With more than 15 years of experience at the College, she has held progressive leadership roles across enrolment services, admissions, student systems, and registrarial operations.

Originally arriving in Canada as an international student, Inga quickly fell in love with the country, its people, and its educational system. That experience continues to shape her commitment to creating accessible, student-centred services and removing barriers throughout the student journey.

Inga holds a Doctor of Education in Higher Education Leadership from Western University, a Master of Science in Public Relations from the University of Stirling, and a Bachelor of Commerce from Royal Roads University.

Her work focuses on modernizing the Registrar's Office by transforming manual processes into scalable, technology-enabled services, advancing automation, and designing systems that improve both the student and employee experience. A strong advocate for Strategic Enrolment Management, she works collaboratively across the institution to align recruitment, admissions, advising, student services, information technology, and academic operations in support of student success.

Beyond Okanagan College, Inga serves as Vice Chair of the Association of Registrars of the Universities and Colleges of Canada (ARUCC) and chairs its Learning and Professional Development Committee. In this role, she helps advance the Canadian registrarial profession through the development of a national competency framework and practical professional learning opportunities for registrars and their teams across the country.
