After working in marketing and events for a local small non-profit, Christina founded Impact Events in 2008 and has since grown the business from a solo side business to a small agency with three employees. Her company’s portfolio focuses on three major sectors including hospitality, tourism, non-profit/charity and new residential real estate. With more than 20 years of experience in event production, communications, public relations and marketing, Christina brings a depth of experience and industry awareness that enables a deep understanding of her clients’ vision, goals and objectives. In addition to managing a varied event portfolio, Impact Events also owns five large community festival-style events. Impact Events has been recognized several times as a top event planning company in Kelowna. For the past 23 years, Christina—who has been recognized as a business leader and influencer—has been a volunteer board member for a variety of organizations, including the Okanagan College Alumni Association.

I have been in event planning since 2002, started working for a local non-profit as marketing assistant then grew within the company. Founded my company in 2008.

Have sat on boards of directors for the last 23 years, including the OC Alumni Association. Typically take on an executive role. Have helped grow events for clients to maximize and increase funding at their galas.

My business has been recognized several times for top planners in Kelowna, I have been featured as female business leader and influencer.
Describe your personal achievements (family life, pastimes, etc.)
Enjoy living life in the Okanagan. Have rental properties, dog, cat, enjoy wine country Okanagan beaches.

The Okanagan College Alumni Association (OCAA) is a non-profit organization that celebrates alumni by creating connections and opportunities. Founded in 1988, the OCAA aims to connect alumni with each other and with the College, while supporting the College's mission statement of transforming lives and communities.
