Judy Joustra, a retired Okanagan College and OUC employee, has passed away.
Judy began her employment in 1979 and retired in 2004. She died July 5 in Kelowna and leaves her husband Harry, daughter Brenda and a number of grandchildren and great grand-children to grieve. Her College colleagues have many fond memories of Judy.
Lianne Rozniak is among them:
“Judy was the first person that I worked under in the Registrar’s Office when I started in July 1987,” notes Lianne. “Judy was a wealth of information and was always there to assist. She was very proud of the institution and all of the people that helped to make Okanagan College a great place to study and work. I’ll always thank her for the work ethic that she instilled in me and the caring that she had for the students, they were always important to her. “
