Colleagues,
Flags have been lowered at the Kelowna campus and this notice is posted in memory of Jack Falk, a former Vice President of Okanagan University College who passed away recently.
Falk served as VP Administration and Finance from August 1981 until September 1999.
Former College President Dr. Bill Bowering recalls: “Jack was a very hard and reliable worker who thoroughly committed himself to the task at hand. He oversaw the planning of numerous facilities and improvements at the Kelowna campus, OUC Kelowna North Campus (now UBC Okanagan) and the Salmon Arm campus. Given all of the demands and especially considering the time limits, it was very fortunate that the College had someone with Jack's talents and abilities on staff.”
Falk’s family will be hosting a celebration of life in the spring. Details will be shared in College Matters when known.
