Colleagues,
The Okanagan College flag has been lowered at the Kelowna campus in memory of Claudia Cable, former long-time Campus Library Assistant.
Cable began her career in Library Services at Okanagan College in fall of 1989. She would go on to spend nearly 30 years with the College, retiring in January of 2018.
She is recalled by her colleagues for her dedication to exceptional student service, a legacy which continues to inspire.
“During her lengthy career with OC, Claudia saw the KLO campus library through a number of challenges and, most notably, she always went to whatever lengths were necessary to help students succeed, even if that meant putting her own needs aside,” said Ross Tyner, Director of Library Services.
Details of any planned services will be shared as they become available.
