Colleagues,
The flag has been lowered in memory of Brian Bennett, a long-time Maintenance Engineer at the Vernon and Salmon Arm campuses.
Bennett began his career at the College in 1994 and would go on to spend 15 years with OC, retiring in 2009.
He is recalled by his colleagues as a genuine soul who took exceptional pride in what he did.
“I worked with Brian near the tail end of his career,” says Peter Csandl, OC Facilities and Business Services Manager of Plant Services & Operations. “He cared deeply about people and his family. He will be sadly missed.”
Details of any planned services will be shared as they become available.
