Computer Information Systems students attend conference

Keona Gagnier, a Bachelor of Computer Information Science (BCIS) student, recently attended the IEEE SysCon 2025 in Montreal. Keona was one of several BCIS students to attend and present their research as part of the conference. She credits Dr. Youry Khmelevsky, BCIS department chair, for his support
"The conference was an incredible opportunity. Dr. Khmelevsky was instrumental in helping us refine our work to meet professional research standards. I remember debating whether or not to go on this trip, and I’m so glad I did. It’s the kind of experience you really don’t want to pass up, especially as an undergrad. It’s been a whirlwind, and I never would have guessed that this school year would end with such an accomplishment under my belt."
