About the program

Solar photovoltaic systems are creating new opportunities for skilled electricians as residential and commercial solar installations expand. This microcredential builds on your electrical experience with specialized training in PV electrical interconnections, troubleshooting and maintenance.

You will complete two courses covering the electrical side of solar PV systems and the skills needed to diagnose and maintain them. The program is intended for Red Seal electricians who have already completed OC's Solar Photovoltaic Systems Introduction & Installation Microcredential.
