Thanks to the generosity of Highstreet Ventures, a Kelowna-based real estate and development company, the future of trades education in our region is stronger. In 2024, Highstreet made a landmark $1 million gift to Okanagan College’s (OC) Trades and Apprenticeship programs, creating 13 annual bursaries of $6,500 each. These bursaries provide entry-level trades students with partial or full tuition coverage and support for additional expenses such as textbooks and tools.

Students at the Okanagan College Automotive Service Technician and Collision Repair Technician programs are building a Factory Five Racing Mk4 Roadster, a replica of the iconic Cobra sports car.
Made possible by a $30,000 gift from Craftsman Collision, Kit Car is a hands-on project that gives students valuable experience working on a vehicle from start to finish.
Once completed, the car will be auctioned*, with proceeds supporting future student builds, equipment and learning opportunities.
