Experience OC is an exciting event designed to offer high school students a firsthand look at college life and academic programs through engaging, interactive sessions. It provides students with a unique opportunity to explore various fields of study, connect with faculty and immerse themselves in the campus environment. Student Services are also welcome to host sessions, giving students the chance to learn more about the full spectrum of support available during their college experience.
We’re expecting over 500 students from the Central Okanagan, each attending two faculty-led sessions. These sessions, scheduled from 10:00-10:45 a.m. and 11:00-11:45 a.m., will allow students to dive into programs they’re interested in while learning more about potential career paths.
For faculty and student services, this is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your programs, connect with future students and highlight the unique learning and support opportunities available.
Additionally, if you're interested in volunteering to help with the event on May 1st, please email rpcampbell@okanagan.bc.ca. Volunteers are needed for tasks such as registration, wayfinding and assisting with the after-sessions lunch in the courtyard. Your support would be greatly appreciated!
