The Okanagan College flag has been lowered at the Kelowna campus and this notice is shared in memory of Michael Berger, a long-time College employee who passed away on Nov. 14, 2022.
Berger began his career at the College in 1978. He spent nearly 30 years sharing his expertise and knowledge as an education technology technician, before continuing his career at UBC Okanagan in 2007. He was honoured by UBCO for long-service to the university and the college in 2013.
Michael is remembered by Allan Coyle, retired Associate Vice President External and Strategic Initiatives, who said: “Michael was a great guy. Very talented, very tech savvy and respected by everyone.”
