Babysitter Training - (CAMP 2903)

Become a confident babysitter this summer! Gain skills from both the Home Safe and Babysitter Training courses. We will cover topics such as first aid, difficult behaviours, leadership and professional conduct for babysitters. Develop practical experience in changing diapers, feeding and dressing children and babies all while keeping you and the child safe. Successful candidates will become a Red Cross-certified babysitter.

*Please note - youth must be 11 years of age to receive Red Cross Certification

Nope, you are never too old to play with LEGO®. If you have a big imagination, are curious, and love to explore and take risks, you don’t want to miss this camp. Together we will build and create the most fascinating robots, mechanisms, and gizmos, then add block and python coding to our creations to make them move! In this fun environment, you will learn the skills needed to become the programmers and innovators of tomorrow!

From computer science to creative expression, Minecraft™ Education Edition opens the door to endless opportunities to discover, build, design, and tell stories. Throughout the week, campers will spend most of their time learning and creating in the digital world, collaborating with teammates, solving challenges, exploring cities, travelling new Minecraft biomes, experimenting with basic coding, and competing in artistic build-offs.

Spoiler alert! You are in for super-charged fun this week! What makes a Bugatti the fastest car in the world? How are Tesla's so energy-efficient? We'll dive into the science behind your favorite supercars while mixing in a lot of hands-on fun. Build your own supercars out of various materials and then challenge your friends to a race. Get a taste of the automotive world when you check out OC's automotive shops. Who knows, maybe you will be driving your own supercar design one day!

Jr. Mad Scientist - (CAMP 2102)

Campers, prepare for one messy week! Liquid, solid and gas, matter, motion and mass. This camp is all about scientists gone mad! So, throw on your lab coat and strap on your safety goggles! Develop your own hypotheses and make your very own experiments that your parents would never let you make in your kitchen. We will be making crazy concoctions and discovering different reactions all week long!

Get ready to explore the best of the Okanagan outdoors! Throughout the week, you’ll hike a variety of local trails while building confidence, endurance, and essential wilderness skills. Learn how to navigate using the sun and maps, recognize local wildlife, identify plants, filter water, and construct simple shelters. Learn about navigation and assemble a take-home first-aid kit—equipping you with real skills for future adventures. Perfect for young explorers eager to get outside, build resilience, and discover the natural world.

Minecraft Education Meets 3D Design.

From computer science and coding to digital design and 3D geometry – bring your Minecraft world to life! Using Minecraft Education, this program is designed to offer a fun, educational, and interactive experience that encourages young builders to dream big and discover their potential. Learn endless ways to create, build, code and tell a story in your Minecraft world and then transform your digital concepts into tangible objects! Learners will discover the basics of 3D design using straightforward software and create their own models based on their Minecraft creations. Each student will have the opportunity to print their favourite designs, taking home a unique piece of their creativity.

Jr. Olympics - (CAMP 2701)

If races, challenges, competitions and rivalry make you smile and get your blood pumping, then you Don't want to miss this week! We will go back in time and explore the origin of the worlds biggest sport competition. Why the torch? Where did the rings come from? Every day you will challenge your fellow campers in different sport and random fun, strenuous activities. We will keep track of the points and at the end of the week we will have a closing ceremony with a podium and awards!

Jr. CHEERology - (CAMP 2700)

Do you want to learn how to tumble, jump, stunt or dance? Join us for a week of this progression-based sport that will utilize goal-setting skills, develop self-awareness and promote a positive perspective on exercise. We will also discuss health and fitness, make our own bows and invite family and friends to a final cheer performance at the end of the week! 

Jr. Videogame Development w/Scratch - (CAMP 2336)

Step into the exciting world of game creation in this hands-on camp! Using Scratch, campers will design their own interactive games, animations, and stories while learning the fundamentals of coding and logic. With its intuitive drag-and-drop interface, Scratch makes programming accessible and fun! You will enhance their problem-solving skills, develop creative thinking, and gain confidence as you turn blocks of code into playable projects. By the end of the week, you will have your own unique game or animation to share!  

Jr. Wizardly World of Potter - (CAMP 2100)

Welcome campers! You have been accepted to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Get sorted into your house, join the dueling club, decipher hidden messages, play Quidditch and of course, work towards winning the Hogwarts House Cup! Craft amazing potions that bubble, boil and fizz. Even bring home your own wand that Ollivander would be proud of. This week will be full of magic!

Jr. LEGO® BricQ Builders - (CAMP 2323)

In this hands-on camp, you will explore the fascinating world of mechanical principles, engineering, and motor-powered machines using LEGO® Education BricQ kits. You will design, build, and test your creations, putting them through races, strength trials, and friendly competitions, learning how small adjustments can lead to big results. Themed crafts and open-ended free-build challenges will be woven into the week, sparking curiosity, creativity, and a love of engineering through play! 

Jr. Hand Stitch & Sparkle - (CAMP 2504)

Campers will explore the art of cross stitching, embroidery and bedazzling clothing. This camp combines creativity, skill building and a bit of glam while campers express their unique personalities through art. We will draw and sketch our ideas, cut, glue, stitch and bejewel boring clothing items. Bring any clothing from home that you want to bedazzle and let your unique style shine!

Jr. Mechatronics - (CAMP 2330)

What do you get when you mix electronic and mechanical engineering with robots and contraptions? When you then add meters, diodes, switches and incorporate your own imagination? A whole lot of mechatronic fun! We’ll play around with, and explore electronics, connect lights, create circuits and hook up microcontrollers to learn about electronic engineering. We bet you can’t resist this camp!

Jr. CSI Meets OC - (CAMP 2104)

Get ready to unravel the mysteries behind forensic science and discover the many ways police use it to lock up criminals. Visit the College's science lab and the campus security office, where you will use your investigative minds to try and solve the many mysteries at Okanagan College. You and your CSI partners will analyze suspects fingerprints and DNA. The mysteries are waiting!

Jr. Ultimate Sports Sampler - (CAMP 2702)

Get ready for a high-energy week of sports! Each day features something new such as soccer, basketball, volleyball, pickleball, or frisbee. Sharpen your skills through drills, scrimmages, challenges, and team games designed to push your speed, agility, and coordination. Build your confidence through teamwork, sportsmanship, and friendly competition - whether you’re aiming to practice your game or try something new, this camp delivers nonstop action, new friends, and tons of FUN. 

Jr. 3D Design and Print - (CAMP 2300)

How cool is 3D printing? Even cooler if YOU were to design the object! This week we will draw, tweak and design items using a bunch of different mediums. You will be working on the computer with industry software to create your own master pieces. When you are happy with your projects we will have a couple of them printed for you to take home and display.

Jr. Through the Lens - (CAMP 2502)

This week is all about capturing great photos and expressing creativity through photography. Using a device you already have, you will practice photography skills through hands-on activities. You will explore photo settings, filters, composition, and creative angles, along with how to share images safely online. By the end of the week, you will gain the experience needed to apply these techniques to your own photos! 

Please note, if possible, please bring a photography device to camp - this may include a phone, tablet/iPad, point-and-shoot camera, or SLR camera. 

Jr. 3D Digital Animation - (CAMP 2333)

Step into the world of 3D creativity! In this hands-on digital animation camp, you will learn the basics of 3D design and animation using industry software such as Maya. Experiment with building simple 3D shapes, bringing characters to life with animation fundamentals, and discovering how digital artists make objects move on screen. Beyond the computer, explore real-world 3D techniques—such as animating LEGO and trying simple stop-motion animation. Perfect for curious creators who love art and technology, this camp blends digital and tactile skills to spark imagination and introduce the exciting world of 3D animation. 

Jr. Build Her Up Trades - (CAMP 2009)

Build Her Up Camp is an empowering, hands-on program designed to inspire girls to explore exciting careers in the skilled trades. Over the course of this engaging camp, participants will learn to use tools, tackle creative projects, and develop practical skills in areas like carpentry, welding, electrical work, and more.

Led by industry professionals and mentors, this camp fosters confidence, teamwork, and a can-do attitude, showing girls that they have what it takes to succeed in traditionally male-dominated fields. Build Her Up Camp is not just about learning trades; it's about building futures, breaking barriers, and unlocking potential.

At Skybound Adventures, campers will soar through the world of airplanes, aviation and flight through cool activities, challenges and a visit to the KF Centre for Excellence to explore their interactive aviation exhibit. Campers will design and build their own flying machines, learn the science behind flight, and discover how changes in the design of an aircraft can affect its flight. Campers will meet real pilots, engineers and aviation experts who will share amazing from the world of aerospace. Whether you're into building things, exploring new tech, or just love the idea of flying, this camp is your chance to soar to new heights!

If technology is your passion and you want to explore it more, then you must join us this week as we discover more efficient ways to do things and test new ideas. From coding and programming, to digital art, 3D designs, and electrical currents and energy, this camp covers everything tech! We know you’ll want to “tech” this camp out!

Jr. Field Trip Frenzy - (CAMP 2921)

Be a tourist in your own town! Discover the wonders of our local community through hands-on experiences at our local art galleries, museums, farms and orchards. Visit a new venue each day and engage in activities that stimulate your mind, foster curiosity and deepen your understanding of your community.

Jr. Digital Media Makers - (CAMP 2308)

Dabbling in anything related to web design can be both extremely fun and extremely frustrating. In this camp, we’ll dabble together to create something really cool! We’ll explore different tools and software, and learn to add pictures, widgets and sidebars. Personalize your page by changing colours and themes. After this week you’ll go home with a webpage built to impress!

Jr. Girls Ready, Set, Go Kart - (CAMP 2000)

Ready to get your hands dirty and love going fast, then you should join us this week for the coolest camp on wheels! If you like racing, have an interest in taking things apart and like to figure out why things don't work then this camp is for you! We will work on small engines, replace tires, fix brakes and make sure the steering is working properly. Then we'll decorate our karts before we build the track and take the Karts out for a spin! All karts will be prepped so they are ready for the last day of camp, which is RACE DAY! Friends and family are invited to come and support your race team.

Jr. Bloom and Build - (CAMP 2531)

Bloom + Build is a weeklong creative experience! You will construct your very own wooden garden box and learn how to plant and care for what grows inside it. You will also explore the basics of floristry—discovering balance, color, and arrangement techniques as you create your own mini bouquets and floral displays. You will also experiment with pressing and drying seasonal flowers to make unique keepsakes like bookmarks or frame-ready art. It’s the perfect camp for budding builders, nature lovers, and anyone who enjoys crafting something beautiful from the ground up!

Throughout the week, you will design and create pet-inspired crafts and useful items to take home and share with your own pets. You will also learn about responsible pet ownership, animal care, and what it takes to keep pets healthy and happy. Special guest visitors will introduce campers to ways they can support and care for animals in their community. A creative and meaningful way for animal lovers to spend the summer!

Jr. Studio Recording Producer - (CAMP 2526)

If you want to discover the world of music, recording, studio engineering, and mixing and mastering, this is the camp for! You’ll explore the equipment in OC’s professional recording studio, get an introduction to music production software, play with microphone set up, record tracks, and mix and master to create an artistic masterpiece. Do you want to put your talent out there and be recorded? We can arrange that too!

Jr. Theatre is Calling Your Name! - (CAMP 2508)

Hop on stage and perform in a play!  In this camp, you will imagine what it feels like to be different characters in a story, and then pretend to be them.  You will read from theatre scripts, memorize lines, explore different ways of speaking and practice your roles.  You will improvise and act out ideas and actions, spending a fun week being an actor in a real theatre.

Jr. Extreme Survivor Challenge - (CAMP 2703)

Are you up for a challenge? Do you think you have the brain power to figure out the puzzle? Do you think you can hurdle past your opponents to win? Can you eat the mystery blender drink? Do you have what it takes to be a team player? Come join us for a week of races, puzzles, obstacle courses, and endurance challenges.

Jr. Ready, Set, GO Kart - (CAMP 2006)

Do you have a passion for go-kart mechanics, or racing? During this week you will enhance your knowledge in servicing and maintenance as well as explore safety aspects with an emphasis on tires, brakes and steering. We will go over the functions of a four stroke engine and how it operates. Expect to get your hands dirty as you will disassemble, inspect and repair the karts. There may even be some surprises like painting, decaling and customizing of the bodies. All karts will be prepped so they are ready for the last day of camp, which is RACE DAY! Friends and family are invited to come and support your race team.

Jr. Mix it Like a DJ - (CAMP 2519)

DJs are the life of the party! So, get ready to train those ears, turn those tables, and get your groove on at this week-long camp. Mix it like a DJ is an exciting, audio-filled week, jam-packed with learning about musical bars, phrases, features, and getting a basic understanding of what a DJ console does. You’ll also have a chance to develop your mixing and beat matching skills. Bring your favorite songs and your dancing shoes!

Jr. Rescue Response - (CAMP 2925)

When disaster strikes, teamwork and clear thinking save the day. In this immersive, challenge-driven camp, participants will learn how engineers, medics, and scientists respond to both natural and human-made emergencies. Campers will explore practical survival skills, emergency planning, and real-world problem-solving through hands-on activities and scenario-based missions. Jr. Build Her Up Trades - (CAMP 2009)

Build Her Up Camp is an empowering, hands-on program designed to inspire girls to explore exciting careers in the skilled trades. Over the course of this engaging camp, participants will learn to use tools, tackle creative projects, and develop practical skills in areas like carpentry, welding, electrical work, and more.

Led by industry professionals and mentors, this camp fosters confidence, teamwork, and a can-do attitude, showing girls that they have what it takes to succeed in traditionally male-dominated fields. Build Her Up Camp is not just about learning trades; it's about building futures, breaking barriers, and unlocking potential.

Perfect for girls who love creating, problem-solving, and discovering new possibilities, this camp is their first step toward becoming tomorrow's trailblazers in the trades!

Jr. Ultimate Sports Sampler - (CAMP 2702)

Get ready for a high-energy week of sports! Each day features something new such as soccer, basketball, volleyball, pickleball, or frisbee. Sharpen your skills through drills, scrimmages, challenges, and team games designed to push your speed, agility, and coordination. Build your confidence through teamwork, sportsmanship, and friendly competition - whether you’re aiming to practice your game or try something new, this camp delivers nonstop action, new friends, and tons of FUN. 

Jr. Sewing Club - Beyond the Basics - (CAMP 2535)

Bring your ideas to life with fabric, thread, and creativity - then take them further! If you have basic sewing experience and are ready to build on your skills, this is the camp for you! You will work on more complex projects, refine machine and hand-stitching techniques, and learn new methods for altering and constructing garments and accessories. With a focus on design, problem-solving, and creative independence, you will be encouraged to challenge yourself and turn your ideas into polished, finished pieces. This camp includes a field trip to a local consignment store. 

*Please Note: Students should have basic sewing experience, including being able to independently use and thread a sewing machine; completion of our introductory sewing camp is strongly recommended. 

Jr. Wizardly World of Potter - (CAMP 2100)

Welcome campers! You have been accepted to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Get sorted into your house, join the dueling club, decipher hidden messages, play Quidditch and of course, work towards winning the Hogwarts House Cup! Craft amazing potions that bubble, boil and fizz. Even bring home your own wand that Ollivander would be proud of. This week will be full of magic!

Creative Ink - (CAMP 2514)

Do you love creating stories or dreaming up amazing adventures in your mind? Dive into a week of imaginative exploration where the wonders of storytelling come alive on paper. Unleash your inner author as you experiment with different writing styles and discover new ways to bring your characters and fantasy worlds to life. This camp will definitely be something to write home about!

Jr. Chemistry Ka Boom - (CAMP 2113)

Bubbling, boiling, blasting and ka-booming is what this camp is all about! Strap on your safety goggles because this is going to be one messy week. You will create and test all sorts of chaotic concoctions that your parents would never let you make in your kitchen. There will be mini rockets, blasting balloons, boiling brews, and so much more. This camp will blast your socks off! 

Jr. Minecraft™ - (CAMP 2335)

From computer science to creative expression, Minecraft™ Education Edition opens the door to endless opportunities to discover, build, design, and tell stories. Throughout the week, campers will spend most of their time learning and creating in the digital world, collaborating with teammates, solving challenges, exploring cities, travelling new Minecraft biomes, experimenting with basic coding, and competing in artistic build-offs.

Jr. Girls in Tech - (CAMP 2311)

Embrace the exciting world of technology this week! Explore programming, try your hand at game development, or design cutting-edge digital fashion. Did you know - the first computer programming code was written by a female! Maybe you’ll be the next innovator to create a game-changing tech product. Use coding to bring your ideas to life, push your creativity to the next level, and have a blast while doing it. This week is all about fun, discovery, and the endless possibilities of technology! 

Jr. 2D Digital Animation - (CAMP 2334)

Discover how drawings come to life in this hands-on 2D animation camp! Campers explore both traditional and digital animation as they learn how characters move, jump, and walk across the screen. Using 2D animation software, participants experiment with key poses, timing, and the basics of building a walk cycle—breaking down each step to understand how smooth motion is created. Away from the computer, campers dive into classic hand-drawn techniques and start their own flipbook using the same foundations professional animators rely on. Perfect for creative kids who love computers, drawing and storytelling, this camp blends digital skills with traditional art, giving campers a strong introduction to the fundamentals of 2D animation—and a flipbook they made themselves! 

Jr. 3D Design and Printing - (CAMP 2300)

How cool is 3D printing? Even cooler if YOU were to design the object! This week we will draw, tweak and design items using a bunch of different mediums. You will be working on the computer with industry software to create your own master pieces. When you are happy with your projects we will have a couple of them printed for you to take home and display.

Jr. Epic Energy - (CAMP 2712)

Run, jump, climb, push and pull yourself over and around obstacles in a safe and fun environment. We will work on fitness, agility, confidence, communication and test our capabilities. This camp is both mentally and physically challenging yet loads of fun! Do you think you can hurdle past your opponents to win? Bring water bottle and sunscreen, cause we'll be outside.

Jr. Nature Exploration - (CAMP 2114)

Join us for an interactive week exploring the natural world and discovering how everything in nature is connected - including us! Through hands-on activities like building water filtration jars and creating food chain mobiles, plus outdoor adventures, games, and creative projects, you’ll uncover how ecosystems work and why humans depend on them. We’ll spend time outside every day exploring local habitats, asking questions, and making discoveries along the way. 

Jr. Eco Engineers - (CAMP 2112)

Design solutions for a sustainable future! Throughout the week, you will tackle real-world environmental challenges by building mini water filters, creating prototypes of eco-friendly shelters, and experimenting with hands-on ways to protect our planet. With creativity and teamwork at the core, this camp empowers young problem-solvers to imagine and engineer a greener, more sustainable world. 

Jr. LEGO® Robotics - (CAMP 2329)

Nope, you are never too old to play with LEGO®. If you have a big imagination, are curious, and love to explore and take risks, you don’t want to miss this camp. Together we will build and create the most fascinating robots, mechanisms, and gizmos, then add block and python coding to our creations to make them move! In this fun environment, you will learn the skills needed to become the programmers and innovators of tomorrow!

Jr. Mechatronics – Explore Electronic Engineering - (CAMP 2330)

What do you get when you mix electronic and mechanical engineering with robots and contraptions? When you then add meters, diodes, switches and incorporate your own imagination? A whole lot of mechatronic fun! We’ll play around with, and explore electronics, connect lights, create circuits and hook up microcontrollers to learn about electronic engineering. We bet you can’t resist this camp!

Jr. Carnival Creators - (CAMP 2532)

Step right up for a week of creativity, teamwork, and classic carnival fun! Campers will design and make carnival-themed crafts, build and test their own games, and explore what it takes to bring a carnival to life. Throughout the week, groups will plan and prepare a mini carnival—complete with stations they help run with support from instructors and volunteers. It’s a hands-on, high-energy week where imagination and fun take center stage!

Jr. Videogame Development w/Scratch - CAMP 2336

Step into the exciting world of game creation in this hands-on camp! Using Scratch, campers will design their own interactive games, animations, and stories while learning the fundamentals of coding and logic. With its intuitive drag-and-drop interface, Scratch makes programming accessible and fun! You will enhance their problem-solving skills, develop creative thinking, and gain confidence as you turn blocks of code into playable projects. By the end of the week, you will have your own unique game or animation to share!  

Jr.Fieldtrip Frenzy - (Camp 2921)

Spoiler alert! You are in for super-charged fun this week! What makes a Bugatti the fastest car in the world? How are Tesla's so energy-efficient?  We'll dive into the science behind your favorite supercars while mixing in a lot of hands-on fun. Build your own supercars out of various materials and then challenge your friends to a race. Get a taste of the automotive world when you check out OC's automotive shops. Who knows, maybe you will be driving your own supercar design one day!

Jr. Art Beyond the Canvas - (CAMP 2522)

Get ready for an exciting art adventure like no other! This week, we’ll step away from paper and explore all kinds of cool materials—like clay, recycled objects, wire and more—to create awesome art pieces. You’ll build, shape, and design your ideas into sculptures and creations, playing with height, depth, and texture to bring your imagination to life!

Jr. Palette & Pencil - (CAMP 2523)

This week is all about flat surface creations! Explore how to use lines, shapes, colours, textures and space to create stunning, unique and eye-catching masterpieces. Experiment with composition, contrast and balance. Draw, paint, doodle, print and take photos to visually express your artistic side!

Jr. LEGO® BricQ Builders - (CAMP 2323)

In this hands-on camp, you will explore the fascinating world of mechanical principles, engineering, and motor-powered machines using LEGO® Education BricQ kits. You will design, build, and test your creations, putting them through races, strength trials, and friendly competitions, learning how small adjustments can lead to big results. Themed crafts and open-ended free-build challenges will be woven into the week, sparking curiosity, creativity, and a love of engineering through play! 

Jr. Mad Scientist - (CAMP 2102)

Campers, prepare for one messy week! Liquid, solid and gas, matter, motion and mass. This camp is all about scientists gone mad! So, throw on your lab coat and strap on your safety goggles! Develop your own hypotheses and make your very own experiments that your parents would never let you make in your kitchen. We will be making crazy concoctions and discovering different reactions all week long!

Hip to the Hop, to the hippity hop. Do you love dancing? What about singing? Acting? Well at this camp you get to do ALL THREE! Become not a single, not a double, but a triple threat in the music, arts and showbiz industry. Be the performer you've always wanted to be. Join us at OC's Theatre for an entire week to work on your skills. Then, come up with a show by the end of the week to perform on the big OC stage! Break a leg!

Jr. Mix it Like a DJ - (CAMP 2519)

DJs are the life of the party! So, get ready to train those ears, turn those tables, and get your groove on at this week-long camp. Mix it like a DJ is an exciting, audio-filled week, jam-packed with learning about musical bars, phrases, features, and getting a basic understanding of what a DJ console does. You’ll also have a chance to develop your mixing and beat matching skills. Bring your favorite songs and your dancing shoes!

Pokemon Elite Trainers - (CAMP 2906)

Gotta catch 'Em all! Are you, or do you want to become a Pokemon trainer? Do you have an awesome deck? Come explore this great game and meet fellow aspiring trainers. Discover new strategies and duel your friends in tournaments or on the playground. What should you do when the unexpected happens? How do you become a master at the game? Join us for a week of fun, strategic thinking and tactic game play.

Jr. Mysteries of the Universe - (CAMP 2111)

Embark on an intergalactic journey of discovery at the Mysteries of the Universe camp! Young astronomers and cosmic explorers will delve into the wonders of space and uncover the secrets of the universe. Through captivating activities, interactive experiments and celestial adventures campers will unravel the mysteries of planets, stars, and beyond. Get ready for a week filled with cosmic quests, astronomical art and the joy of exploring the vast mysteries that lie in the depths of our extraordinary universe.   

Jr. Inner Radiance Retreat - (CAMP 2010)

Uncover your inner beauty at this empowerment-focused camp. Throughout the week, we'll boost self-esteem and confidence with self-care activities, guided meditations, and yoga. Develop mental and physical awareness, communication skills, and a deeper understanding of your overall well-being. You will also learn how to make healthy snack choices and learn how eating right really can help you feel better. Put it all together and create a vision board for your future with intention and focus.
