The Registrar’s Office is pleased to launch a Transfer Credit Search tool right on the College’s website. This public-facing web-service pulls and displays all transfer credit articulation agreements from the BC Transfer Guide system right on the OC Transfer Credit webpage. It mirrors what the BC Transfer Guide will show for OC’s incoming articulations.

This new transfer tool allows prospective students, as well as advisors, chairs and faculty, to search for transfer equivalencies without having to leave the College’s website. Admitted students can then apply for transfer credit towards studies at Okanagan College.

The BC Council on Admissions & Transfer (BCCAT) announced this week that the BC Transfer Guide now includes transfer equivalencies that OC, and other post-secondary institutions, have with post-secondary institutions (PSIs) across the world, in addition to transfer agreements among BC Transfer System members. As a result, students from across Canada and the globe can search the BC Transfer Guide to identify transfer credit they will receive from the onboarded BC PSIs for learning obtained outside of BC.

This BC Transfer Guide expansion continues the work of facilitating student mobility, both in reducing barriers and promoting pathways to access quality, post-secondary education in British Columbia.

Okanagan College is one of seven institutions that has added their pan-Canadian and international course-to-course transfer agreements to the BC Transfer Guide to date and the new OC Transfer Credit Search tool takes full advantage of this by showing articulations from within Canada and around the world.
