President’s term extended

At the request of the Board of Governors, Okanagan College President Jim Hamilton has agreed to postpone his retirement plans to the end of March 2021 to smooth the transition to Dr. Neil Fassina’s arrival as the institution’s next President. Fassina assumes the role on April 1.

The Board of Governors’ confirmed Hamilton’s extension at its November meeting. He was initially slated to finish his 16-year tenure at the end of January.
