Connections 2026, scheduled for next Tuesday and Wednesday (Aug 18, 19) has been cancelled.

The Connections organizing team made the decision based on the current wildfire situation.

"It was felt that an event like Connections would not be appropriate given the uncertainty many OC employees and their families are facing in the coming days and weeks. Connections is a time for us to come together as a College community, learn and have fun. It's a time that we can look forward to, and because it is planned by employees for employees, it is an authentic reflection of our shared interests and priorities. The smoky air would have required us to hold all events indoors, which limited some of the planned agenda. We hope that next year, the skies are clear." – the Connections team.
