In February 2026, OC announced a transformational $10 million gift. 

The largest gift to OC and to any College in BC, it established a named business school – the Hall School for Business and Entrepreneurship at Okanagan College - further elevating OC’s reputation for excellence in applied business education. 

The gift will allow OC to support the Okanagan’s entrepreneurship ecosystem through:

  • Entrepreneurship programs – from bootcamps to degrees for youth, students and community entrepreneurs. 
  • The Hall Entrepreneurship Incubator – located in the Centre for Food, Wine and Tourism, a space for entrepreneurs to come together and develop scalable venture.
  • Access to Mentorship and Entrepreneurs in Residence 
  • Maker Spaces to test and refine ideas 
  • Access to seed funding 
  • Opportunities for students from all programs, from Trades to Health to Technology.

With $10M secured, we now need $5M to create experiential learning opportunities, build the seed fund and outfit maker spaces.
