Presented by the Hall School of Business and Entrepreneurship and delivered through InspirED Continuing Studies and Corporate Training, these courses and workshops are designed to give you practical, real-world skills, not just theory, so you can move forward with confidence.

The Start Up Lab: From Concept to Company

Ideal for brand new and aspiring entrepreneurs, this course guides learners through the full business development cycle — from identifying a real-world problem, to building a viable business plan and preparing a structured pitch. Learners develop a launch-ready concept.

The Entrepreneur's Toolkit

The Entrepreneur’s Toolkit is designed and targeted towards current entrepreneurs providing exactly and only the skills they need. Built and delivered by industry experts that know the entrepreneurial journey first-hand, these short, accessible workshops deliver the skills you need to help your business succeed.  These workshops can be taken independently or together as a complete series. Workshops include:

The Rural Entrepreneur and Artisan Microcredential

The Rural Entrepreneur and Artisan Program (REAP) Microcredential supports learners who want to start, grow or strengthen a business, creative practice, side hustle, or community-based venture in rural, remote and community-based contexts. You may be exploring a new idea, building on a skill, craft, service or creative practice or strengthening an existing business for changing economic and digital environments. 

Through hands-on, applied learning, this microcredential helps you clarify your goals, understand the people you serve, develop practical business foundations, strengthen communication and marketing, build or improve a simple online presence and use digital and AI-supported tools responsibly. The program emphasizes values-based entrepreneurship, local relationships, place-responsive planning and realistic next steps so you can build sustainable income, contribute to community well-being, and move forward with confidence.

Trades Management and Entrepreneurship Courses

The Trades Management and Entrepreneurship Courses are designed and targeted towards current and future trades business owners, operators and managers providing trade specific courses to bridge the gap between trades and business. The suit of courses are deigned to start, manage, promote, grow and run trades businesses successfully and become transform tradespeople into entrepreneurs. Built and delivered by industry experts and trades professionals that understand the unique challenges trades entrepreneur experience.
