Walking Well Together is a two hour guided conversation with Mariel Belanger at Fascieux Creek wetland that invites participants to engage in deep listening, reflection, and dialogue about what it means to be in right relationship on Syilx Okanagan territory.
Through story, conversation, and embodied learning, Mariel shares insights from her Embodied Story Practice, weaving together cultural teachings, lived experience, and institutional pathways toward meaningful Indigenization.
Participants will explore how walking well together requires awareness of place, responsibility to one another, and ongoing commitment to ethical collaboration. This session offers a space for honest conversation, collective learning, and renewed understanding of how to move forward in good relation within Okanagan College and the wider community while discovering marsh plants and their traditional uses.
Meet at 9am at the Casorso Road entrance
