What do we do?
The IT Solutions department is a core operational and delivery function within IT Services at Okanagan College, responsible for the end-to-end management of institutional applications, enterprise systems, and digital services across their full lifecycle—from solution design and implementation to ongoing operation, support, optimization, and retirement.
It serves as the execution layer of IT Services and encompasses software, support, operations, and application lifecycle, ensuring that technology solutions are reliable, secure, sustainable, and aligned with institutional goals, directly supporting academic, administrative, and student-facing operations.

Why are software solutions important?
Software solutions are critical in enabling institutional operations (student systems, finance, people services, learning platforms), supporting digital transformation initiatives, reducing operational risk through lifecycle governance, improving efficiency and automation across departments, and ensuring sustainability of IT investments.
