The Certified Dental Assistant Program at Okanagan College holds a direct patient care clinic in Kelowna every May. The clinic provides affordable dental cleaning and exams in a safe space. 

Appointments can be made between May 9-31, 2024.

Appointment criteria 

Age 35 and older 

Please see your regular dentist for an exam and scaling if required. Our clinic will email you a treatment prescription form to take to your provider and have filled out and brought into your appointment here at Okanagan College. This form is to be completed within 60 days of your appointment within our clinic. 

Ages 16 to 35 

You will need to be screened either at your regular dentist or by one of our Dentists and Hygienists on May 9, 10 or 13 for an exam and scaling. A second appointment will also be scheduled to complete your remaining prescribed treatments, including: polish, fluoride, x-ray images and fissure sealants. 

Ages 5 to 15 

No pre-screening required. Book for any appointment time during the May Patient Care Clinic.
