OC celebrates retirees
It was an evening three years in the making – or 2,372 years, depending on how you look at it.
On Tuesday, Feb. 22, the College recognized 128 individuals who retired in 2020, 2021 and 2022.
OC President Dr. Neil Fassina acknowledged the incredible contributions of the assembled group, noting the group collectively boasted 2,372 combined years of service.
“That legacy of your work here is a strong and vital institution and students who have acquired the tools to tackle the opportunities of a challenging world. Tonight is an opportunity for me to say a very genuine and heartfelt “Thank you.” said Fassina.
OC Board Chair Juliette Cunningham shared thanks on behalf of the Board of Governors.
Guests enjoyed fantastic food prepared by OC Culinary Arts students under the tutelage of Executive Chef Ruth Wigman.
