Ebners make Family Feud Canada debut
For Ryan Ebner, Manager of IT Services, a family vacation this fall got so competitive, his relatives ended up on television.
Ebner joined four family members during filming of an episode of Family Feud Canada, which aired in November on CBC Gem.
Cassandra Ebner introduced the family of Linda, Breanna, James and "cool uncle Ryan," a family of self-professed "nerds" who decided to dress up in costumes -- some from Life XP, a TV series Cassandra writes and stars in, and the others worn at ComiCon and a wedding held in an Irish castle.
The Ebners from West Kelowna took on the reigning Facchin family from Nova Scotia, and were sworn to secrecy on the outcome until after the episode aired.
The opening question challenged them to "Name something you might find yourself searching for online after a break-up." The Ebners started out with an early lead, and things took a turn on the second question: "Name something a sports fan might have a hard time doing if they kept their foam finger on."
