Cultural land tours
Krystal Lezard offers cultural land tours at Mission Creek Park.
On Sept. 21 and 23, members of the OC Administrators Association participated in cultural land tours with Krystal Lezard through the Sncewips Heritage Museum and Westbank First Nation.
Krystal led the tours at Mission Creek Park to share about cultural plant use, salmon life cycles and the history of Westbank First Nation and its inception. Participants shared that Krystal was very informative and engaging by sharing personal stories about her family and community, and that they appreciated her sense of humour.
For the members who could not attend this fall, OCAA plans to request another tour in April 2023 as part of their ongoing group professional development. Krystal offers tours year-round: https://www.sncewips.com/tours
