Board and Education Council - Spring Elections

Multiple positions of the Board of Governors and Education Council are available for nominations. Please read below for information on available positions and important dates.

Board of Governors

• 1 Support staff (any staff excluding educational administrators, faculty, instructors, students, and certain positions specifically excluded)
• 1 Faculty member (Faculty or instructor)

Note that these are 3 year terms and candidates should have a reasonable expectation to serve the entire term.

Education Council

• 1 Regional Faculty – Shuswap-Revelstoke (Faculty or instructor)
• 1 Regional Faculty – North Okanagan (Faculty or instructor)
• 1 Regional Faculty – Central Okanagan (Faculty or instructor)
• 1 Regional Faculty – South Okanagan Similkameen (Faculty or instructor)

Note that that these are 2 year terms and candidates should have a reasonable expectation to serve the entire term.

Important Dates

• Call for Nominations: March 10 – 24, 2021 at 4 p.m., forms and additional information will be available on March 10 in myOkanagan (Elections page)
• Post List of Candidates: March 24, 2021 4:30 p.m.
• Campaign Period: March 25 – April 9 , 2021
• Elections: April 10 - 14, 2021 in myOkanagan
• Announcement of Results: April 15, 2021
• Deadline for Appeals: April 22, 2021
