Vernon Campus - Trades building
The ACTION Project, an externally funded project in the trades department, has an event coming up that we wanted to share with you. This event will take place on the Penticton campus and may be of interest to Indigenous students and apprentices, families, tradespeople, and allies.
Who is being showcased?
Crystal Roman is an Indigenous Master Automotive Diagnostic Tech who lives on Secwépemc Nation. Crystal has worked for Toyota for more than 20 years. Hear her story, ask questions, eat, win prizes and connect with other Indigenous trades people and their allies.
What can I expect?
Food, prizes (tools!!), community.
Share a warm meal with us, win prizes and be inspired by Crystal Roman's skills and resilience. Meet others in the trades industry or those with interest in entering it.
All are welcome, bring a friend.
