Calling all tradeswomen! Whether you're a pre-apprentice, apprentice, journeyperson or other tradeswoman in the industrial or construction trades, this event is for you!

Okanagan College's ACTION Project, in partnership with WinSETT (Women in Science, Engineering, Trades and Technology) and with support from the Government of Canada, invite you to a unique tradeswoman leadership event. 

This FREE, three session event will take place on the Kelowna campus of Okanagan College, in the Health Sciences Building (HS101) at 1000 KLO Road. 

Breakfast, lunch, snacks and coffee will all be provided. 

Workshop #1: Being a Leader (Saturday, March 7)
• Participants will explore their individual leadership strengths and how emotional intelligence support leadership. This workshop also helps participants develop their own personal approach to self-promotion.

Workshop #2: Communicate Like a Leader (Saturday, April 18)
• This session helps participants strengthen foundational communication skills through practice and exploring real world scenarios. Participants will identify strategies for having tough conversations and gain tools to communicate with confidence.

Workshop #3: Leading Relationships (Saturday, May 2)
• Participants will focus on empathy, values, and career development. This session also dives into the roles of mentor and career champions participants clarify their career goals and understand how to seek support.
